Job summary

Vines Group in Crawley Down is seeking an experienced SMART Repairer to join its Bodyshop team. You will perform cosmetic vehicle repairs, from dents to wheel refurbishment, delivering a high-quality finish within fast turnaround times.

The role requires at least 3 years of SMART repair experience, a full UK driving licence, and a proactive, collaborative approach in a family-focused environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' SMART Repair experience.
• Glass repair, interior trim and PDR experience is preferred but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of SMART repair techniques and alloy wheel refurbishment.
• Experience in paint mixing, preparation, masking, painting and machine polishing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out SMART repairs, including paintwork, light filling and minor dent removal
• Refurbish and repair alloy wheels
• Prepare, mask, paint, lacquer, polish and finish vehicles to a high standard
• Inspect vehicles and identify any additional repair work required
• Work efficiently to meet turnaround times without compromising on quality
• Accurately record completed work and repair times
• Take care of vehicles while they are in the Bodyshop
• Keep your work area clean, organised and compliant with health & safety requirements
• Support the wider team with additional duties when required

We’re looking for an experienced SMART Repairer to join our Bodyshop team at Vines of Gatwick!

You’ll be responsible for carrying out high-quality cosmetic repairs to vehicles, from minor dents and paintwork through to alloy wheel refurbishment. Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll help ensure vehicles are finished to an excellent standard and ready for customers as efficiently as possible.

What you will be doing:

• Carry out SMART repairs, including paintwork, light filling and minor dent removal
• Refurbish and repair alloy wheels
• Prepare, mask, paint, lacquer, polish and finish vehicles to a high standard
• Inspect vehicles and identify any additional repair work required
• Work efficiently to meet turnaround times without compromising on quality

• Take care of vehicles while they are in the Bodyshop

What We're Looking For:
