Job summary

South East Water Limited is seeking a Waterlink Smart Metering Field Team Leader to oversee multiple field teams responsible for smart meter installations. You will lead, motivate, and develop teams, ensuring safe, high-quality delivery and strong customer service, acting as a bridge between office and on-site delivery.

You will ensure adherence to regulations, manage workloads, and drive process improvements while coordinating with scheduling and HR policies.

Qualifications

• GCSE/O-Level A–C or equivalent literacy/numeracy.
• NRASWA Supervisor Qualification.
• Clean driving licence.
• Strong IT skills (Word/Google Docs, Excel/Google Sheets).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience supervising field teams and third-party contractors.
• Water industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Waterlink Smart Metering Field Teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead, motivate, develop, and appraise team members.
• Ensure all work complies with regulations and best practice.
• Monitor workloads and allocate contract labour.
• Identify opportunities and implement improved processes.
• Coordinate with Health and Safety teams on procedures.
• Monitor vehicles and plant equipment; report issues.
