Job summary

South East Water is seeking a Waterlink Smart Metering Field Team Leader in Aylesford to oversee multiple field teams installing Smart meters. You will lead daily site activities, ensure safety compliance, and deliver high customer service while connecting office and onsite functions.

You will mentor teams, drive performance, and coordinate with scheduling to optimise workflow while maintaining accurate project records and cost data. The role demands strong leadership and clear communication.

Qualifications

• GCSE/O-Level literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
• Knowledge of NRASWA 1991 legislation.
• NRASWA Supervisor Qualification is required.
• Clean driving licence is essential.
• Strong IT skills with Word/Google Docs and Excel/Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Waterlink Smart Metering Field Teams from initiation to completion.
• Lead, develop and appraise team members to drive peak performance.
• Ensure work complies with health and safety and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor workloads, allocate contract labour, and reduce backlogs.
• Coordinate with scheduling to optimise plans and minimise downtime.
• Manage customer contacts and resolve complaints professionally.
