Qualifications

• 3 Phase/CT and/or Medium Pressure experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Install gas and electricity smart meters safely and efficiently.
• Investigate and resolve non-communicating meters.
• Complete emergency and maintenance appointments.
• Restore gas or electricity supplies where required.
• Provide customers with clear advice on their new meter and its safe operation.

Smart Meter Engineer – Bristol

Location: Bristol, South West England

Salary: £39,033 – £40,117 per annum
OTE: Up to £50,000+

The Role

We are currently recruiting for Smart Meter Engineers on behalf of our client, with permanent opportunities available across the Bristol area.

You will join an established Metering team providing gas and electricity metering services, including smart meter installations, investigating non-communicating meters, emergency response and maintenance appointments.

The role is customer-focused and field-based, offering excellent earning potential, ongoing training and genuine opportunities for career progression.

Salary & Benefits

• Dual Fuel: £39,033 per annum
• Dual Fuel 3 Phase/CT: £40,117 per annum
• £2,000 annual attendance and safety bonus

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Valid UK driving licence held for at least 1 year
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• CCN1, CMA1 or CMA3, or NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering Dual Fuel
• Previous gas and electricity smart meter installation experience
• Previous MOCOPA experience
• 3 Phase/CT and/or Medium Pressure experience is advantageous
