Job summary

Trevett Services is seeking a Small Works Manager for Gosport to oversee refurbishment and small works on a defence estate. The role is temporary (6–12 months) and based on site, paying £350 per day.

Responsibilities include supervising works, coordinating trades, and ensuring health and safety compliance within a live environment. SC clearance is required or must be obtainable.

Qualifications

• Experience managing refurbishment, fit-out or small works projects.
• SC clearance in place or eligible to gain clearance.
• Strong site management/supervision experience.
• Experience managing permits, RAMS and subcontractors.
• Good knowledge of construction health & safety.
• Experience delivering projects within live or occupied environments.
• Defence, MOD or secure-site experience would be advantageous.
• Ability to obtain the required security clearance.

Trevett Services are working with a leading UK defence, engineering and technology organisation to recruit a Small Works Manager based at their Gosport site.

You will be responsible for the site-based delivery of refurbishment and small works projects valued up to £1m, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard within a secure, operational environment.
