Job summary

Elite Hire Solutions is recruiting an Electrician - Small Works & Maintenance to join an established M&E contractor in Warwick. You will service West Midlands sites, carrying out reactive and planned maintenance, electrical testing, remedial works and small installations across varied properties.

Desirable qualifications include NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, ECS card and City & Guilds 2391. A company van and long-term stability accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' qualified electrical experience in a commercial maintenance environment.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• Current 18th Edition qualification (BS 7671).
• Current ECS card.
• City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Confident working independently across a variety of sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive maintenance, fault finding and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Complete EICRs, electrical testing and remedial works.
• Install and maintain emergency lighting and electrical systems.
• Undertake first and second fix installations, containment and wiring.
• Install distribution boards, submains and associated electrical equipment.
• Complete minor works and installation certificates.
• Produce accurate job reports and testing documentation.
• Liaise professionally with clients and building users.
• Participate in out-of-hours emergency call-outs when required.
