Job summary

Baltimore Consulting Limited is recruiting an experienced Speech & Language Therapist (SLT) to support vulnerable children and young people within a Preventing Exclusions pathway.

The role involves delivering assessments and targeted interventions in schools, community settings, and alternative provisions, collaborating with education staff and SEND professionals to improve outcomes. Flexible working arrangements apply; contract funded through April 2027, with IR35 umbrella arrangement.

Qualifications

• Qualified and experienced Speech & Language Therapist.
• Experience with vulnerable children and SEND.
• Not suitable for newly qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assessments and targeted interventions for children and young people
• Support the Preventing Exclusions Pathway through practical, outcome-focused therapy
• Work directly within schools, alternative provisions and community settings
• Model effective communication strategies and therapeutic approaches for education staff
• Collaborate with professionals supporting children with SEND and complex needs
