Job summary

Unlocking Language in the United Kingdom is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join a supportive MDT within school settings. You will work across complex needs educational settings, community settings, and mainstream schools as part of a steady SLT team.

The post offers structured supervision, a varied caseload including SLCN and autism, and the chance to develop clinical skills while contributing to EHCP planning and staff training.

Qualifications

• Must have an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in speech and language therapy.
• Current UK professional registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat children and young people with SLCN.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, parents and professionals.
• Develop communication strategies including AAC.
• Write reports and contribute to EHCP reviews.
• Provide training to school staff on communication-friendly practices.
