Job summary

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust in Chichester invites applications for a Speech and Language Therapist to join the Preschool Complex Needs Team. You will work with preschool children with complex needs, including autism, in a busy development setting across preschool environments.

The post offers either a permanent Band 6 position for an experienced therapist or a Band 5 development post on a two-year fixed-term contract, with opportunities to progress to Band 6.

Qualifications

• Experience with preschool children with complex needs, especially autism.
• Ability to manage own caseload and provide assessments, therapy, and training.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload and provide assessment, therapy and training as required.
• Collaborate with Speech and Language Therapy Assistant and other health/education staff.
• Engage in supervision and CPD opportunities.
