Job summary

Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join the Autism service supporting autistic and complex needs children across schools and settings. The role involves working with primary/secondary students in special schools and ARP settings, and contributing to autism diagnostics and wider service development.

You will work within a growing SaLT network, with established supervision, CPD access, and flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree or equivalent (HCPC registration)
• HCPC Licence to Practice
• Registered with RCSLT

Responsibilities

• Deliver assessment and intervention for autistic and complex needs children in Autism service
• Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to SLT students
• Support Autism diagnostics and collaboration with schools/settings
• Contribute to developing and evaluating new autism-related services
