Job summary

Dynamic Resourcing supports a global packaging client in Slough by sourcing a Machine Operator (Slitter). You will operate extrusion and coating lines, slitting laminated material into tapes and follow production plans, with safety and quality procedures.

You'll work on a 3-shift pattern with early, late and night rotations, and be part of a team that maintains ERP data in Syteline. The role requires reading production plans and SOPs, and overtime is available.

Qualifications

• Must have basic numeric and literacy skills to ensure accurate recording of data.
• Ability to read and follow production plans and SOPs.
• Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operating all machinery in an efficient and safe manner
• Running and maintaining the production of extrusion and coating lamination, including printing, ensuring all safety and quality procedures are followed whilst remaining on track with the production plan.
• Slitting material produced from the laminators and extrusion machines into tapes as per the customer requirement, following strict quality procedures.
• Operate all production lines, after appropriate training.
• Support and help in the cross-training of other team members.
• Covering holiday and sick
• Process the material through the ERP Styeline system
• Ensuring that all company driven SOPs and instructions are followed.
• Making sure all codes used in Syteline are accurate and correct.
