Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Slinger Signaller in Oxford (OX3 Headington area) to Direct crane operations safely and attach/detach loads according to lift plans.

Candidates must hold CPCS A40 or NPORS N402 with CSCS, have proven experience on commercial/civils projects, wear full PPE and have the right to work in the UK. Immediate start.

Qualifications

• Must hold CPCS A40 or NPORS N402 with CSCS.
• Proven background as Slinger Signaller on commercial/civils.
• Full PPE and strong commitment to site safety.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Direct crane and lifting operations safely using standard signals and radios.
• Attach/detach loads in line with site lift plans (LOLER).
• Inspect lifting accessories (slings, shackles, chains) before lifts.
• Coordinate with crane operators and site logistics managers.

Job description

Location: Oxford (OX3 - Headington area)

Pay Rate: £22.00 per hour

Duration: Ongoing / Long-term

Start Date: Immediate

Role Responsibilities:

• Directing crane/lifting operations safely using standard hand signals and radios.
• Attaching and detaching loads in accordance with site lift plans (LOLER compliance).
• Inspecting and checking lifting accessories (slings, shackles, chains) prior to lifts.
• Coordinating with crane operators and site logistics managers.

Requirements:

• Valid CPCS Card (Category A40) OR NPORS Card (N402 with CSCS logo).
• Proven background as a Slinger Signaller on commercial/civils projects.
• Full PPE and strong commitment to site safety.
• Right to work in the UK.
