Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a Slinger / Signaller to join theOxford site in Headington. The role carries a pay rate of £22.00 per hour and is offered on an ongoing/long-term basis with an immediate start.

Direct crane/lifting operations safely using hand signals and radios, attach/detach loads per LOLER-compliant lift plans, and inspect lifting gear before each lift. You will coordinate closely with crane operators and site logistics to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Slinger/Signaller on commercial or civil projects.
• Strong commitment to on-site safety and PPE usage.
• Ability to communicate clearly with crane operators and crew.

Role Responsibilities:

• Directing crane/lifting operations safely using standard hand signals and radios.

• Inspecting and checking lifting accessories (slings, shackles, chains) prior to lifts.


• Coordinating with crane operators and site logistics managers.

Requirements:

• Valid CPCS Card (Category A40) OR NPORS Card (N402 with CSCS logo).


• Proven background as a Slinger Signaller on commercial/civils projects.


• Full PPE and strong commitment to site safety.


• Right to work in the UK.
