Job summary

NRL Group is recruiting an experienced Slinger/Signaller to join a busy Teesside project, starting Monday 17th August. You will lead lifting operations, ensure loads are secured safely, and maintain safe working practices on a major industrial site.

We welcome experienced candidates with valid CPCS/NPORS Slinger/Signaller qualifications, strong teamwork, and a safety-focused approach. Competitive CIS rate offered for local Teesside work.

Qualifications

• Slinger/Signaller certification from CPCS or NPORS.
• Proven ability to direct crane operators safely.
• Team player with strong communication and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Direct and communicate with crane operators during lifting operations.
• Sling and secure loads safely using appropriate lifting accessories.
• Carry out pre-use checks on lifting equipment.
• Ensure all lifting activities are conducted in line with site procedures and health & safety regulations.
• Support the wider site team as required.

Requirements

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Slinger/Signaller qualification.
• Previous experience on industrial, construction, port, or heavy engineering sites.
• Strong understanding of lifting operations and safe systems of work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Safety-focused attitude and excellent communication skills.
