Job summary

Lynch Labour in Scunthorpe is looking for a qualified Slinger/Signaller to safely sling and signal loads during crane lifting operations on busy construction sites. The successful candidate will communicate with crane operators and follow the lifting plan, ensuring all procedures are followed.

Applicants should hold a CPCS Blue Slinger/Signaller card or NPORS with CSCS, have experience on construction projects, and be able to provide recent work references. PPE is required.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS Blue Slinger/Signaller card or NPORS with CSCS logo.
• Previous experience on construction or civil engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of lifting operations and site safety procedures.
• Full PPE is required.
• Ability to provide recent work references.

Responsibilities

• Safely sling and signal loads during crane lifting operations.
• Communicate with crane operators using hand signals and radio.
• Follow the lifting plan and site procedures at all times.
• Inspect lifting accessories before use and report defects.
• Maintain safe working practices and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with movement and positioning of materials on site.
• Coordinate with site management and other trades to keep operations efficient.

• Work closely with site management and other trades to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements
