Job summary

The Isle of Wight College is looking for a proactive Workplace Facilitator to coordinate work placements, engage employers and support learners with SLDD/LDD needs, helping them gain practical experience and confidence.

In this role you will source placements, deliver employability skills, monitor progress and ensure safeguarding and records compliance across the college, with a focus on building partnerships and creating meaningful opportunities.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade A–C or equivalent.
• Minibus driving license or willingness to obtain.
• Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

• Source and coordinate internal and external work placements for learners.
• Deliver employability skills sessions and provide learner support.
• Develop partnerships with employers and support agencies.
• Match learners to placements and monitor progress.
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and up-to-date records.
