Job summary

Palladium International is seeking an Employment Specialist to support individuals through the Connect to Work Isle of Wight programme. The role includes building action plans, regular check-ins, and advocating for customers with local employers to secure meaningful work opportunities.

You will facilitate work experiences, support in-work progression, and help customers overcome barriers to employment. A flexible approach and safeguarding knowledge are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience helping people facing barriers to employment.
• Ability to provide one-to-one support and coaching.
• Proven track record building partnerships with employers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Promote and champion customers as viable candidates to employers.
• Create individual action plans and regularly check progress with customers.
• Advocate for the value of the programme with employers to improve recruitment outcomes.
• Facilitate work experiences such as placements, trials, and shadowing opportunities.
• Provide in-work support to customers to sustain employment and growth.
