Job summary

Palladium International Ltd is recruiting an Employment Specialist to connect people with work across the Isle of Wight. Based in Newport, the role requires travel to community venues and a focus on promoting employability, supporting IPS and SEQF delivery, and building strong employer partnerships.

You will manage individual action plans, track progress, and provide ongoing in-work support. DBS checks are required and travel expenses to base location are reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with barriers to employment.
• Ability to coach individuals in one-to-one sessions.
• Strong networking to build employer partnerships.
• Excellent organisational skills and caseload management.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and data protection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Champion customers as valuable candidates to employers and promote available support.
• Create and follow individualised action plans for each customer.
• Regularly check progress before and after employment.
• Build employment opportunities through proactive engagement with employers.
• Facilitate work experiences like placements, trials, or shadowing.
• Provide ongoing In Work Support to help customers sustain employment.
• Address personal constraints to develop skills and confidence for recruitment.
• Maintain customer records to required quality standards.
