Job summary

Panda is seeking a Skip and RoRo Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of our skip and RoRo services in the Leeds area. You will manage drivers, planning and fleet resources to ensure safe, efficient deliveries, exchanges and collections, while taking responsibility for operational P&L and cost control.

You’ll maintain a visible presence, set clear standards and drive performance across safety, compliance and customer satisfaction. A CPC and full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading skip/RoRo operations.
• CPC and Operator's Licence exposure.
• Knowledge of driver hours and fleet compliance.
• Experience managing budgets and P&L targets.
• Health, safety and waste compliance knowledge.
• Strong planning and problem solving.
• Clear communication with customers and teams.
• Full UK driving licence.
• IOSH/First Aid/ADR awareness advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily skip and RoRo deliveries, exchanges and collections.
• Match drivers, vehicles and container availability to demand.
• Manage operational P&L, budgets and costs.
• Lead and develop drivers and staff, set safety and conduct standards.
• Ensure licence compliance, drivers’ hours and working time rules.
• Uphold health, safety and waste compliance.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and asset availability.
• Resolve service issues with Sales and Customer Service.
• Monitor KPIs to drive improvements in planning and delivery.
