Job summary

Panda in Widnes is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to operate skip and RoRo vehicles across local sites. The role requires safe driving, good customer service, and keeping vehicles in top condition.

You will start around 6am with occasional Saturdays, deliver and exchange containers, perform daily checks, and comply with safety and environmental standards while providing a professional service to customers.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence (Cat C) and Driver CPC required.
• Digital tachograph card mandatory.
• Proven HGV driving experience, preferably in waste sector.
• Reliable, professional with strong teamwork and communication.
• Flexibility for 6am starts and some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 2 skip and RoRo vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver, exchange, and collect containers at customer sites.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Comply with safety, environmental, and road regulations.
• Provide professional customer service on site.
• Support the Widnes depot and wider transport team.
