You will coach, mentor and assess across employer sites, Hull College and remote settings, guiding learners to build practical skills and confidence for a successful electrical career.

Working Hours: 37hours per week, 52weeks per year
Salary: 31,795 FTE per annum, plus £5,000Market Supplement
Annual Leave: 31days per annum (excluding bank holidays and up to 3 additional discretionary days over the Christmas/New Yearperiod)
We’re looking for an experienced electrical professional to join us as a Skills Coach in Electrical, supporting apprentices as they build the practical skills, knowledge and confidence they need for a successful career in the industry.
This is a great opportunity to use your industry experience in a different way, working closely with apprentices and employers to support progress, recognise achievement and help learners get the very best from their apprenticeship.
As our Skills Coach in Electrical, you’ll play a key role in supporting apprentices throughout their programme, providing coaching, mentoring, reviews and guidance across employer premises, Hull College and remotely. You’ll help learners make strong progress, develop their confidence and build the practical skills, knowledge and behaviours they need for a successful career in the electrical industry.
The role focuses on delivering apprenticeship standards and supporting learners to achieve the best possible outcome, including distinction-level achievement wherever possible.
