Job summary

VanRath is seeking a skilled workshop joiner to deliver bespoke furniture and joinery projects in a progressive team where craftsmanship and attention to detail are valued above all.

Reporting to the workshop supervisor, you will interpret detailed drawings, measure and cut using advanced tools, fit and finish items, and maintain a safe, efficient workflow. The role offers career development and access to modern machinery.

Qualifications

• Relevant joinery qualification with proven experience in bespoke or high-quality carpentry.
• Experience using a wide range of joinery tools and machinery.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Interpret detailed manufacturing drawings and specs to create bespoke joinery items.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials using advanced tools and machinery.
• Fit, finish, and inspect products to ensure high standards of quality.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain workflow.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and uphold health and safety standards.
