Job summary

Arriva is looking for an experienced Skilled Shift PSV Mechanic at our Southend depot. You will service, maintain and repair a fleet to Arriva and DVSA standards, diagnose faults and attend roadside breakdowns, ensuring reliability and compliance.

The role offers £22.90 per hour with £34.35 per hour overtime, 40 hours per week, 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, and additional benefits including free bus travel for you and a nominated family member.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in PSV/HGV maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence with 6 points or less.
• Ability to pass a PCV pre-employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards.
• MOT preparation and planned preventative maintenance campaigns.
• Diagnostics and roadside breakdown attendance.
• Improve vehicle reliability and uphold Arriva standards.
