Job summary

The Flava People are growing and looking for experienced Skilled Production Operatives to join our fast-paced food manufacturing team. You’ll cook sauces to exact recipes, weigh ingredients, set up production lines and monitor quality while keeping the area safe and efficient.

We offer a basic rate of £13.21 per hour with shift premiums and overtime. Three rotating shifts are available (6:00–2:00, 2:00–10:00, 10:00–6:00). If you have sauce-assembly experience and a passion for quality, apply now.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing, production, or similar fast-paced environment.
• Experience in sauce cooking, batching, mixing, or machine operation.
• Understanding of food safety, quality and hygiene.

Responsibilities

Sauce Cook | Batching Operative | Machine Operator

£13.21 per hour + shift premiums + overtime

We’re growing, and we’re looking for experiencedSkilled Production Operatives to join the team atThe Flava People.

We make big, bold flavours for some of the UK’s best-known food brands and retailers – and we need great people who know their way around a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

We’re recruiting across three key skilled roles:

You’ll be responsible for cooking our sauces and products to the right recipe, quality and specification every time. From following recipes and controlling cook temperatures to completing checks and keeping your area running smoothly, you’ll play a key part in creating the flavour.

Accuracy matters! You’ll be weighing, measuring and preparing ingredients ready for production, making sure every batch is made to the correct recipe and specification. You’ll need a great eye for detail, confidence working with weights and measures, and a strong understanding of food safety.

You’ll take ownership of your production line or machine, setting up equipment, completing checks, monitoring performance and helping to keep production moving safely and efficiently. You’ll also spot and resolve basic issues before they become bigger problems.

What’s on offer?

Basic rate: £13.21 per hour

We operate across three shifts:

• 6:00am – 2:00pm
• 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• 10:00pm – 6:00am

• Night shifts are paid at Time & Quarter
• Overtime available at Time & Half
