Job summary

South West Recruitment in the United Kingdom is seeking a Production Technician / Machine Operator to keep our food manufacturing line running smoothly and safely. You will perform production tasks, monitor equipment, and ensure quality and hygiene standards.

The role is a permanent position after a 6-month trial, with a Monday–Friday shift 07:00–16:30 and a competitive hourly rate of £12.71. Own transport is required due to location.

• Accurately record data and interpret production schedules.
• Proactively fault-find and resolve technical issues.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet and exceed departmental KPIs.
• Undertake any training required to support business goals and values.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends during peak times.

We are seeking a dedicated Production Technician / Machine Operativeto support our manufacturing operations. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth running of our production line and maintaining the high-quality standards our customers expect. Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour with a permanent position after 6 months for the successful candidate.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 16:30 (1 hour unpaid break per day, split into 2 x 30 minute breaks.)

Day-to-Day

• Complete cleaning tasks and stack pallets on the production line.


• Lift up to 15kg continuously throughout the shift.


• Operate machinery and ensure all production tasks are completed efficiently.

• Adhere to production schedules and ensure timely delivery of finished goods.
