Job summary

Flamingo operates a busy nursery packhouse in Lincolnshire and is seeking a skilled operative to coordinate activities and support daily production. You will be the first point of contact for operatives and senior management, ensuring materials and equipment are available to meet customer demands.

Responsibilities include maintaining line output quality, proper packaging, stock control, and close collaboration with the quality/technical team to drive product quality and efficiency.

• Ensure products are stored correctly during productive/non-productive times.
• Engage in audits, visits and finished product inspections.

• Highlight and progress stock and raw material issues to keep lines running.
• Act as first point of contact for planning, technical, stock control and other production areas to maintain process coordination.

To be hands on and co-ordinate activities and requirements of the nursery packhouse through acting as the 1st point of contact and liaison for Nursery Operatives and Senior Management. To ensure that all materials and equipment are available to support the production needs daily whilst ensuring the business works in an efficient way, enabling it to deliver on customer demands both internally and externally.

• Ensure that the quality of all products generated by the lines meets the customer and in house standards.
