Job summary

Flamingo operates a busy nursery packhouse in Lincolnshire and is seeking a skilled operative to coordinate activities and support daily production. You will be the first point of contact for operatives and senior management, ensuring materials and equipment are available to meet customer demands.

Responsibilities include maintaining line output quality, proper packaging, stock control, and close collaboration with the quality/technical team to drive product quality and efficiency.

• Ensure quality of products meets customer and in-house standards.
• Be responsible for line output, including appearance, spread, trim, head, stem and correct packaging/hardware.
• Ensure products are stored correctly during productive/non-productive times.
• Engage in audits, visits and finished product inspections.
• Work closely with the quality/technical team to drive proactive product quality.
• Highlight and progress stock and raw material issues to keep lines running.
• Act as first point of contact for planning, technical, stock control and other production areas to maintain process coordination.
