Job summary

NRL Recruitment is recruiting for a reliable construction site labourer on a Teesside site. You will support site operations, help trades, and keep work areas safe and clean.

Applicants with previous construction or labouring experience and a valid CSCS card are preferred. This role offers ongoing work, weekly pay, and PAYE or Umbrella payment options.

Qualifications

• Experience on a construction site preferred.
• Valid CSCS Card required.
• Good understanding of site health and safety regulations.
• Reliable, punctual, hardworking attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradespeople with day-to-day site activities.
• Load, unload and move materials around site.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Carry out general labouring and site maintenance duties.
• Support deliveries and stock management.
• Follow site health and safety procedures at all times.
• Operate basic hand and power tools where required.
• Assist with site setup and welfare area maintenance.
• Undertake other duties as directed by site management.

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking killed Operativesto join our team on a construction site in Teesside. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous construction or labouring experience who are looking for ongoing work with a reputable contractor.

The successful candidate will support site operations, ensuring work areas are maintained to a high standard of safety and cleanliness while assisting trades and site management as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting skilled tradespeople with day-to-day site activities
• Loading, unloading, and moving materials around site
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Carrying out general labouring and site maintenance duties
• Supporting deliveries and stock management
• Following site health and safety procedures at all times
• Operating basic hand and power tools where required
• Assisting with site setup and welfare area maintenance
• Undertaking any other reasonable duties as directed by site management

Requirements

• Previous experience working on a construction site is preferred
• Valid CSCS Card (essential)
• Good understanding of site health and safety regulations
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties
• Own transport is advantageous but not essential
