Urbanbubble Ltd is seeking a Skilled Maintenance Operative to assist in daily presentation and maintenance of our luxury development. You will handle first-line responses to building support requests, carry out fabric repairs, and oversee routine maintenance tasks.

Role requires a DBS check and a flexible 40-hour week on a 5-out-of-7 rota (Mon–Sun). The position includes a strong benefits package and opportunities to support a growing community.”

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles.
• IOSH Working Safely or equivalent safety training.
• Familiarity with CAFM systems (web-based).
• Maintenance experience in residential properties or student accommodation.
• Basic painting skills and understanding of decorating and fabric repairs.
• Knowledge of COSHH and basic water system (L8).
• City and Guilds Multi Skills certificate is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Check the work order system daily for current reactive and future works.
• Carry out lighting checks and replace light bulbs.
• Ensure works completed to a high standard within realistic time frames.
• Carry out decoration and repairs to homes within 5 days, ready for letting.
• Liaise with Building Manager to prioritise workload and communicate effectively.
• Maintain records for statutory compliance (sheets and data).
• Inform the company of any additional works needed at location.
• Work independently and support the team as needed.
• Ensure works comply with HSE and water bye-laws.
• Respond to emergency call outs promptly.
• Provide general maintenance assistance, including furniture assembly and hanging items.
• Support the site with ad hoc duties including front reception and assisting the housekeeper.

We are looking for a SkilledMaintenance Operative to assist in the day to day presentation and maintenance of our luxury development! You'll provide first line response to all building support requests and work orders raised.

Please note this role will require a DBS check

As our go-to person, the one with the know of how to keep the development running like clockwork, you'll oversee and and carry out fabric and minor repairs.

Please note this is a permanent position working 40 hours per week on a rota basis, Monday to Sunday (5 over 7).

What will you do?

• Check the work order system daily for current reactive and future works.
• Carry out lighting checks, replacing light bulbs.

• Ensure continual statutory compliance, keeping records of sheets and data.
• Inform company of any additional works needed at location.
• Work well independently, yet be supportive of team members and goals.
• Be able to make sure any works completed are compliant in line with HSE and water bye-laws
• Be able to respond effectively to emergency call outs / situations.
• To provide general maintenance assistance, including furniture building and storage, hanging pictures and items as requested and assisting them in familiarisation of their new apartment and systems.
• To be flexible and adaptive to the needs of the site, supporting the team in additional ad hoc duties including manning the front reception desk, assisting with general enquiries and supporting the housekeeper when required.

What are we looking for?

• Experience working in a customer facing role.
• IOSH Working Safely qualification, or equivalent.
• Previous use of CAFM systems (preferably web based).
• Already working within a maintenance role within residential properties or student accommodation.
• Have basic painting skills with an understanding of decorating and fabric repairs.
• Able to work alone or as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of COSHH.
• Knowledge of basic water system and L8.
• City and Guilds Multi Skills Certificate, or equivalent (desirable).
