Flow Student Ltd is recruiting a Maintenance Operative for our Manchester locations. The role is hands-on, covering general maintenance and light repairs across multiple properties. Essential plumbing experience is required, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The position is full-time and permanent, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm, 40 hours per week. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are advantageous; a DBS check will be mandatory.

Maintenance Operative – Manchester

Salary: £29,814 - £30,314 per annum
Full-time | Permanent | 40 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a successful property and accommodation business for an experienced Maintenance Operative to join their team based in Manchester.

This is a varied and hands-on role, responsible for carrying out general maintenance and light repairs across a number of property locations. You will play an important part in ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard and that maintenance issues are dealt with quickly and effectively.

The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own, take pride in their work, enjoy problem-solving and be confident dealing with a wide range of maintenance tasks. Basic plumbing experience is essential, and you will need to be flexible and adaptable as the role will vary depending on the maintenance requests received.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repairs across various property locations.
• Complete basic plumbing repairs and maintenance.

A full, clean UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle would be advantageous, as the role may involve travelling between different property locations.

A full DBS check will be mandatory for the successful candidate.

What We Offer

• Starting salary of £29,814 per annum.
• Salary increasing to £30,314 following successful completion of a 3-month probationary period.
