Job summary

Urbanbubble Ltd is seeking a Skilled Maintenance Operative to support the day-to-day presentation and maintenance of Sunday Mills, a Co-Living site in Earlsfield. You will help ensure client and colleague safety and comfort while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a DBS check and offers a competitive salary with strong benefits, including enhanced annual leave and other wellbeing schemes. You will work with facilities and other teams to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• City and Guilds or equivalent qualification is essential.
• Experience in a customer facing role, ideally in domestic properties.
• Knowledge of planned preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety issues including COSHH.
• Good understanding of decorating and fabric repair.
• Knowledge of basic water systems and L8.
• Experience using web-based CAFM systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure works completed to a high standard and within the stipulated time.
• Keep stock, tools and materials at acceptable levels and well organised.
• Communicate effectively with the facilities manager and other departments as required.
• Inform the company of any additional works needed at the location.
• Work independently while supporting the team and achieving goals.
• Leave work clean and tidy upon leaving.
• Ensure works are compliant with HSE and water bye-laws.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations.
• Identify potential areas for future works.
• Complete all paperwork and procedures within set timelines.
• Attend all safety briefings and toolbox talks.

We are searching for a Skilled Maintenance Operative to support the team in the day to day presentation & maintenance of our Sunday Mills, Co-Living site in Earlsfield. You will ensure client & colleague safety & comfort at all times alongside delivering excellent customer service.

What will you do?

• To ensure works completed are to a high standard & completed within realistic time frame / stipulated time.
• To ensure stock, tools & materials are kept to an acceptable level & usable standard.
• To communicate effectively & continuously as reasonably practicable with the facilities manager & other departments as required.
• Inform company of any additional works needed at location.
• Work well independently, yet be supportive of team members and goals.
• To leave work clean & tidy upon leaving.
• Be able to make sure any works completed are compliant in line with HSE and water bye-laws.
• Be able to respond effectively to emergency situations.
