Job summary

The Guinness Partnership is seeking two experienced Skilled Labourers to support our resident-focused services in Crewe. You will be responsible for emptying and cleaning void properties, dealing with damp and mould, and performing garden clearance and light maintenance. A full UK driving licence is required.

Joining the team means working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am–7pm with Saturday mornings on a rota. DBS check will be paid by us in line with policy.

Qualifications

• Two experienced Skilled Labourers with great customer service skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and heights in line with Health and Safety guidelines.
• Must have a full UK manual driving licence and be able to reach Crewe within a reasonable time.

Responsibilities

• Empty and clean void properties.
• Deal with damp and mould treatments in occupied properties.
• Perform property and garden clearance and basic grounds maintenance.
• Assist other trades team members as required.
• Work in a customer-focused environment within set performance targets.
• Follow procedures and accurately record data and information.
• Carry out physical tasks, including lifting weights and working at heights.

What we are looking for

We are looking for 2 experienced Skilled Labourers with great customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done. We are a resident-focused organisation, so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. A significant part of this role is emptying and cleaning void properties.

The successful candidates will live within fifteen miles of Crewe to be able to reach our residents in a timely manner. You must have a full UK manual driving licence, and there is a requirement for a basic DBS check, which will be paid for by The Guinness Partnership.

You Will Be Able To Demonstrate These Essential Skills

• Deal with damp and mould treatments in occupied properties.
• Property and garden clearance.
• Basic ground maintenance.
• Assisting other members of the trades team as required.
• Work in a customer-focused environment within agreed performance targets.
• Work methodically, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
• Ability to carry out physical tasks, lift weights and work at heights in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.

Please note - This is a permanent role, working 40 hours per week covering the hours between 8am – 7pm Monday – Friday plus Saturday morning. The later shift and Saturday morning working is delivered on a rota basis.
