Job summary

The Guinness Partnership is seeking an experienced Skilled Labourer to join our resident-focused team in Crewe. You will perform practical tasks across void properties, with a strong emphasis on health and safety and excellent customer service.

This permanent role is 40 hours a week, Mon-Fri 8am–7pm with Saturday mornings on a rota. You must have a UK driving licence and be able to work within 15 miles of Crewe to reach residents promptly.

What we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced Skilled Labourer with great customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done. We are a resident-focused organisation, so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do.

A significant part of this role is emptying, cleaning and painting void properties.

The successful candidate will live within fifteen miles of Crewe to be able to reach our residents in a timely manner. You must have a full UK manual driving licence, and there is a requirement for a basic DBS check, which will be paid for by The Guinness Partnership.

You will be able to demonstrate these essential skills:

• Deal with damp and mould treatments in occupied properties.
• Property and garden clearance.
• Basic ground maintenance.
• Assisting other members of the trades team as required.
• Work in a customer-focused environment within agreed performance targets.
• Work methodically, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
• Ability to carry out physical tasks, lift weights and work at heights in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.

Please note - This is a permanent role, working 40 hours per week covering the hours between 8am ? 7pm Monday ? Friday plus Saturday morning. The later shift and Saturday morning working is delivered on a rota basis.
