Job summary

Together Housing Group is recruiting 2 Joiners / Joinery Technicians to join our Repairs and Maintenance team across Blackburn, Rossendale and Pendle.

You will deliver a customer-focused service, carrying out a wide range of joinery repairs to tenanted and vacant properties, with an ethos of “Right First Time.” We offer a starting salary of £33,758, a company van, 37-hour week, 27 days holiday (rising to 32), flexible working, LGPS pension, and a standby rota.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence required.
• Qualified Joiner/Joinery Technician with relevant qualification.
• Experience in customer service environment.
• Experience completing multiple jobs in one visit.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all types of joinery repairs in tenanted and vacant properties in line with tickets and drawings.
• Aim to complete repairs in one visit with high workmanship and standards.
• Organise work to minimise non-productive time and re-allocate as needed.
• Participate in stand-by or call-out rota as required.
• Diagnose and undertake repairs, seeking approvals for expensive or time-consuming jobs.
