Job summary

Together Housing Group in Blackburn is seeking 2 Joiners/Joinery Technicians to join our Repairs and Maintenance team across Blackburn, Rossendale and Pendle. You will carry out a wide range of joinery repairs in tenanted and vacant properties, ensuring safe, well-maintained homes and excellent customer service.

Starting salary £33,758, plus a company van and generous holiday entitlement. You will work 37 hours per week, with a standby rota and a flexible, family-friendly environment that

Qualifications

Full manual UK driving licence.
Experience as a Joiner/Joinery Technician with related building trades.
Qualification in carpentry/joinery as listed.

Responsibilities

Carry out all types of joinery repairs to tenanted and vacant properties using job tickets and drawings.
Aim for right first time repairs with quality workmanship.
Organise work to minimise loss or non-productive time and reallocate as needed.
Participate in stand-by or call-out rota when required.
Diagnose repairs that may differ from the original job with prior approval if needed.
Maintain high workmanship standards in line with service standards and safety procedures.
