Job Title: Skilled Landscaper

First Military Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Landscaper on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client creates award-winning gardens and landscapes for private and commercial clients. They deliver high-quality bespoke projects ranging from large residential and commercial to smaller urban spaces. The team has a wealth of experience, expertise, and flair, offering the full range of design, construction, and planting services.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel; however, candidates from all backgrounds will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Highly skilled in all aspects of hard landscaping installations, including but not limited to porcelain/natural stone paving, block paving, fencing, walling, water features, steps, tree planting, brickwork, irrigation, pedestals systems, roof landscaping installations, and planters. Also, decking and woodwork installations. All aspects of groundworks, including services runs/ducts and drainage installations.
• This is a hands-on/physical role on residential and commercial construction sites and schemes.
• Manage a small team if required and work in accordance with a construction program.
• Be familiar with construction processes and RIBA stages.
• Provide examples of previous work and references.
• Hold a UK driving license.
• Be willing to travel and stay away from home when sites are located far from your home address.
• Adhere to all health and safety requirements at all times; hold a valid CSCS card.
• Be willing to upskill and undergo training within the company.
• The company encourages staff to attend training courses provided annually, emphasizing that 'knowledge is power.'
