Proactive Personnel Ltd in the West Midlands is seeking skilled Fabricator Welders to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business for long-term work on bespoke steel fabrication. You will work on large industrial vessels and fabrications across various industries, with a 7:00am start and a real chance to contribute to diverse projects.

The role requires strong MIG/MAG/TIG welding skills, ability to read engineering drawings, and a reliable, detail-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fabrication and welding environment.
• Strong MIG/MAG/TIG welding skills.
• The ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Good fabrication and assembly skills.
• A strong eye for detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating steel components and structures.
• Various welding works (MIG and TIG experience).
• Working from engineering drawings.
• Measuring, marking out, cutting and preparing materials.
• Welding and assembling fabricated components.
• Checking finished work to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Working safely and maintaining a clean and organised workshop.
