Job description

ABP in Bridge of Allan, Scotland, is currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced Butchers to join our team. If you meet the requirements, please get in touch.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, starting at 6am until the job is finished.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure that the product is boned and trimmed according to customer and company specifications, as directed by the Boning Hall supervisor.
  2. Work efficiently to meet production deadlines.
  3. Bone out the product to meet customer and company standards, maximizing yield and minimizing waste.
  4. Work as part of a team and take responsibility for your work.
  5. Maintain hygiene and adhere to Health & Safety requirements, including the use of personal protective equipment.
  6. Perform all procedures correctly and safely, following training guidelines.
  7. Maintain high standards of hygiene.
  8. Comply with company policies regarding health & safety and safe food handling and hygiene.
  9. Report any equipment or machinery issues to the Boning Hall supervisor.
  10. Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned.
