Job description

Job Title: Butcher

ABP, one of the UK's largest food producers, is seeking enthusiastic and experienced Butchers to join our team in Bridge of Allan, Scotland. We offer lifelong careers with secure, full-time hours, competitive pay, excellent training, and opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am until the completion of the day's work.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Bone and trim products according to customer and company specifications under the supervision of the Boning Hall supervisor.
  2. Work efficiently to meet production deadlines.
  3. Bone out products to meet quality standards, maximizing yield and minimizing waste.
  4. Work collaboratively as part of a team, taking responsibility for your tasks.
  5. Adhere to hygiene, health, and safety requirements, including the use of personal protective equipment.
  6. Perform all procedures correctly and safely as per training.
  7. Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
  8. Comply with company policies regarding health, safety, and safe food handling at all times.
  9. Report any equipment or machinery issues to the Boning Hall supervisor.
  10. Perform any other duties deemed necessary by management.
