Job description

ABP in Bridge of Allan, Scotland, is currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced Butchers to join our team. If you possess the necessary skills and experience, we encourage you to get in touch.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, from 6am until the completion of the day's work.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Bone and trim products according to customer and company specifications under the guidance of the Boning Hall supervisor.
  2. Work efficiently to meet production deadlines.
  3. Bone out products to meet customer and company standards, maximizing yield and minimizing waste.
  4. Work collaboratively as part of a team and take responsibility for your tasks.
  5. Adhere to hygiene and health & safety requirements, including the use of personal protective equipment.
  6. Perform all procedures correctly and safely, following training guidelines.
  7. Maintain high standards of hygiene.
  8. Comply with company policies regarding health and safety, and safe food handling and hygiene at all times.
  9. Report any equipment or machinery issues to the Boning Hall supervisor.
  10. Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned.
  11. Stay informed about the latest news, products, and special offers.
