Job summary

Knowledge Visual Technology Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Skilled AV Engineer to install, configure and test professional AV systems including LED screens, video displays, audio systems, and conferencing gear. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to deliver smooth, reliable installations and ensure systems perform as intended on handover.

This role is part of the installation team, with a 40-hour week (Mon-Fri, 9am–5:30pm) and occasional out-of-hours or weekend work.

Qualifications

• Proficient understanding of AV fundamentals and practical installation skills.
• Must have a full UK driving licence and be able to drive to site locations.
• Experience with Colourlight is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Install and support LCD displays, projectors, and LED configurations.
• Follow drawings, specifications, and method statements to deliver high standards.
• Assist with fault-finding, commissioning and safety procedures.

Role Overview

The Skilled AV Engineer plays a core role in delivering professional AV systems to exacting standards. You’ll deploy, configure, and test technology solutions including LED screens, video displays, audio systems, network cabling, and video conferencing equipment. Working under the guidance of senior colleagues or project leads, you’ll contribute to smooth, reliable installations that delight our clients. Your technical expertise and commitment to detail help ensure that every system performs exactly as intended on handover. This role works as part of installation team and will involve supporting the lead engineers and be supported by the junior engineers.

Engineering Roles – 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm but occasional out of hours and weekend work

Key Responsibilities

• Install and support:
• LCD displays
• Projectors
• Network cabling
• Assist with LED configuration, commissioning, and fault-finding
• Follow drawings, specifications, and method statements
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety

Required Skills & Experience

• Good understanding of AV fundamentals
• Full UK driving licence
• Preferable experience with:
• Colourlight
• 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays), plus:
• 1 day for your birthday(or nearest Monday/Friday)
