Job summary

Alecto Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced AV Installation Engineer to join our Operations team in London. You will handle installations across corporate, education and retail AV projects with the latest tech, delivering high-quality results you can be proud of.

You will work on large-format video walls, digital signage and conference room systems, collaborating with senior engineers and project managers to ensure successful delivery. This is a hands-on role with clear progression.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the AV installation industry.
• Strong first and second fix installation experience.
• Experience terminating, wiring, crimping, rack building and testing systems.
• Ability to work confidently from schematics, drawings and site plans.
• Experience with video conferencing technologies.
• Knowledge of Extron, Crestron or QSC control systems.
• Experience installing video wall solutions from manufacturers such as Samsung, NEC or Absen.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship.
• A full UK driving licence.

What You'll Be Working On

You will be involved in the installation and integration of high-end AV systems, including:

• Large-format video walls
• Digital signage solutions
• Corporate meeting room technology
• Video conferencing systems
• Control systems including Crestron, Extron and QSC
• Education and retail AV deployments
• Multi-site AV integration projects

No two projects are the same. You'll work alongside highly experienced engineers and project teams delivering installations that you can be proud to put your name to.

Who We're Looking For

This role is for experienced AV engineers who already understand what good looks like.

You’ll likely have:

• At least 5 years’ experience within the AV installation industry
• Strong first and second fix installation experience
• Experience terminating, wiring, crimping, rack building and testing systems
• The ability to work confidently from schematics, drawings and site plans
• Experience with video conferencing technologies
• Knowledge of control systems such as Extron, Crestron or QSC
• Experience installing video wall solutions from manufacturers such as Samsung, NEC or Absen
