Job summary

Sizewell C Digital Communications team in London is offering a 12-month industrial placement as part of your degree. You will gain hands-on experience on a nationally significant infrastructure project, developing writing, digital and stakeholder engagement skills from day one.

As part of a dynamic team, you’ll contribute to internal and external communications, support social media campaigns, and help tell Sizewell C’s story to employees, local communities and the wider public while learning

Qualifications

• Currently studying towards a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Media, English or a related subject
• Looking for a 12-month industrial placement as part of your degree
• Creative, curious and willing to learn
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
• Confident using Microsoft Office applications and digital platforms
• Interested in major infrastructure, sustainability or the energy sector

Responsibilities

• Creating engaging content for internal and external communication channels

Sizewell C Digital Communications Industrial Placement

If you are looking to kick start a career that is rewarding, where you can really make a difference, then come join our Digital Communications team as an Industrial Placement. You will work on one of the most exciting and significant sustainable energy projects that our country has ever seen, being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. Sizewell C is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for at least 60 years.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Industrial Placement Student to join our Communications Team in London for a year-long placement.

This is an opportunity to work at the heart of one of the UK's largest construction and energy projects, helping to tell the story of Sizewell C to employees, local communities, stakeholders and the wider public.

What you'll be doing:
