Taking on a real job at a junior level, you'll have the opportunity to learn through hands-on experience under the guidance of highly skilled and experienced colleagues.
As a Mechanical Engineering Industrial Placement student, you'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, develop your technical and commercial understanding, and see how engineering decisions are made and delivered on a major project.
We're looking for curious, motivated students who enjoy solving problems and want to understand how engineering works beyond the classroom.
Over the course of this 12-month programme, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in hands-on learning, working on real-world challenges that directly impact the Nuclear Industry. Most of your learning will be on the job, supported by your mentor and the teams around you. You'll have a chance to apply your academic training to genuine industry problems while completing modules that contribute towards your degree.
