Sizewell C Communications Industrial Placement is a 12-month opportunity within the Digital Communications team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Industrial Placement Student to join our Communications Team in our Suffolk offices.
This is an opportunity to work at the heart of one of the UK's largest construction and energy projects, helping to tell the story of Sizewell C to employees, local communities, stakeholders and the wider public.
As part of our Communications Team, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of communications activities and contribute to meaningful projects from day one. You could be:
Creating engaging content for internal and external communication channels
Supporting social media campaigns and digital communications
Writing news stories, articles, interviews and case studies
Assisting with community engagement events and stakeholder activities
Supporting photography, video and content creation projects
Monitoring media coverage and preparing reporting insights
Helping to develop communication materials, presentations and briefings
Working with teams across the business to share key project updates and success stories
We're looking for students who are passionate about communication, storytelling and engaging audiences.
Currently studying towards a degree in Internal Communications, Communications & Media Studies, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Digital Media, English Language or English Literature, Business Management, Human Resources / People Management, Psychology, Sociology, Politics or Public Policy, International Relations, Events Management, Creative Writing or Graphic Design
Looking for a 12-month industrial placement as part of your degree
Creative, curious and willing to learn
Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
Confident using Microsoft Office applications and digital platforms
Interested in major infrastructure, sustainability or the energy sector
