Job summary

METLEN Energy & Metals is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join the UK team at the Murton, County Durham site. You will supervise daily warehouse operations, ensure safe handling of construction materials, and coordinate with procurement, logistics and construction teams to meet project timelines.

The role requires 5+ years in warehouse/logistics, experience with ERP/SAP, and strong leadership and communication skills to manage a busy site environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or material management.
• Experience supporting large-scale EPC, industrial, energy, or construction projects is desirable.
• Proficiency with ERP or warehouse management systems, SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations including receipt, storage, handling, preservation and issuance of materials and equipment.
• Inspect goods against purchase orders and project specs, verify quantities and perform quality checks.
• Lead warehouse personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and timely material handling.
• Plan lift plans and RAMS and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate deliveries and support construction schedules and site requirements.
• Ensure correct labeling, storage, preservation and segregation of materials per procedures.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Logistics, Construction, QA/QC, and Project Controls on material availability and schedules.
• Prepare regular warehouse reports and KPI updates for Project Management.
