About The Role

As we continue to develop our food manufacturing business through Myton Food Group, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Technical professional to join us at our Produce Manufacturing site at Gadbrook.

Our onsite technical teams uphold our commitment to producing safe, high-quality foods that meet customer expectations and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the produce sector, working on-site in a food manufacturing environment, with skills in process improvement, data analysis, technical troubleshooting, and food quality enhancement, all with a relentless focus on customer needs.

Reporting to the Senior Technical Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering key site workstreams to ensure quality standards are met
• Identifying emerging risks and developing mitigation plans, leading serious incident response
• Implementing technical plans and managing budgets at the site
• Creating cross-functional relationships aligned across teams
• Developing new ideas and expanding the business at a senior level
• Setting direction for the site Technical and Hygiene teams

Additionally, you should have:

• Market knowledge of risks and challenges in the sector
• Experience in raw material selection and product quality management across categories
• Proven supplier auditing skills
• Experience in creating strategic plans for seasonal service continuity
• Data-driven decision-making skills to influence future seasons
• A track record of coaching and developing talent at all levels
• Extensive manufacturing and/or retail industry experience
