Job summary

Wyke Farms in the United Kingdom is seeking a Site Technical Manager to oversee food safety, quality, legality across site operations and lead the technical team at the Wincanton site.

You will champion a strong food safety culture, manage HACCP/VACCP/TACCP, ensure certification and export compliance, and partner with site management on technical projects while developing KPIs for continuous improvement.

• Solid knowledge of quality systems, food safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage food safety, quality and legality systems across the site.
• Coach and develop the Site Technical Team and monitor performance.
• Promote a strong food safety culture on site.
• Lead HACCP, VACCP and TACCP on site.
• Ensure compliance with certification, customer codes and export legislation.
• Collaborate with Site Management on technical compliance projects.
• Lead site technical function during audits, visits and inspections.
• Develop and review site technical KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage supplier and traded goods approval and monitor performance.
• Explore innovative ways to improve site performance.
• Generate and control product specifications.
• Support Wyke Farms' wider Technical function.
• Assist with cross-site projects as required.
