Job summary

Browne Construction is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations on our construction sites in Kent, Sussex and Hampshire. You will coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and resources to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to the required safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires travel to multiple sites and a 45-hour work week. You will work closely with Site Agents and Project Managers to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain comprehensive site

Qualifications

• Experience supervising construction sites within water/wastewater utilities.
• Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of health, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Competent in planning, problem-solving, reporting, and using digital site management tools.
• Relevant qualifications including SMSTS, NRSWA Supervisor, First Aid, and associated safety and operational certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of construction sites to deliver safely, on programme and within budget.
• Coordinate site teams and subcontractors, manage labour, plant and materials.
• Ensure works align with design, quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues as they arise and maintain accurate site records.
• Drive productivity while upholding high standards of health, safety and compliance.
• Attend sites across Kent, Sussex and Hampshire daily as required.
