Job summary

Carmichael UK in Swindon is seeking an experienced Working Supervisor / Ganger to lead site operatives on civil/groundworks within the Thames Water AMP8 programme. You will supervise, work hands-on, ensure safety, quality, and programme delivery while traveling between sites in the Swindon area.

Qualifications

CSCS Gold Card required and SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
Experience supervising civil engineering, utilities, water infrastructure or groundworks.
Full UK driving licence and ability to travel between Swindon sites.

Responsibilities

Supervise and co-ordinate groundworks and civils teams on site.
Lead by example through active involvement in site activities.
Organise daily work programmes and allocate resources.
Ensure works are completed safely and to procedures.
Carry out site briefings and toolbox talks.
Monitor productivity, quality and programme progress.
Liaise with Site Managers, Engineers and subcontractors.
